Beautiful light effects...which is pretty much the best thing about painting sea creatures, I feel. I also like the way you simplified the texture of the surface of the water, so as not to divert attention away from the shark. I'll be looking forward to more of your work.

Excellent! I can't wait to see more of your work.
Sharks and dolphin paintings are some of my favorite, but they are rarely done well. You (obviously) are very talented with it. I wish I could see the painting itself!

Thanks. Yeah seeing in person is the way to go. The digital shot do a good job but I feel its missing some depth of all the dif blues in the painting. The painting changes with the lighting due to it's reaction to the shades of light hitting off it's blues.

Yes..there are so many subtleties with oil on canvas that can't be conveyed with a photograph.

Wow, thank you very much.

My name means "From the Darkwater" so I have a kinship with the Great White. Or I'm just crazy but that's what my name means in Scottish, it means "Dark Stranger" in Gaelic tho so who knows.
